I am a native Texan, born in East Texas and raised near the surf and sand in Corpus Christi.  After graduating from Texas A&M in 1998 with a BA in Psychology (yes, that makes me an Aggie), I spent two years in Moscow, Russia working for an international venture.  During my stay in Moscow, I married my college sweetheart, Rob (also an Aggie).

When it was time to leave, we moved to Dallas, TX and I attended Dallas Theological Seminary receiving my Masters in Counseling 2002.  After graduation I began working as a counselor to the student body at DTS and started my private practice with LifeWorks Counseling.  While at Lifeworks I also worked as a counselor serving the students at University of Dallas.

In September 2004 Rob and I relocated to Beijing, China for another adventure.  For the next three years I worked with expatriots in Beijing including students at Beijing International School and International School of Beijing. September 2007 we returned home and landed in San Antonio, TX.  We have a daughter and a son who breathe life into us daily.  In addition to my practice, I am a LPC Supervisor and co-director of Counseling4Life.

What makes me tick?  traveling anywhere, college football and basketball, eating really good food, spending time with my family, and good conversations, which is why I love my job.
